France 2030 Ready-to-Use Sites
Presented on May 11, 2023, by the President of the Republic as part of the Green Industry Bill, the “France 2030 Ready-to-Use Sites” initiative aims to accelerate the availability of high-quality industrial land, within a context of land use efficiency. This initiative seeks to identify and label sites with high industrial development potential, while also supporting them to ensure they are truly “ready-to-use”. The goal is to significantly upgrade these identified sites in terms of both administrative procedures and pre-development work. Selected sites will be able to request support from the Government, regional authorities, and relevant agencies, depending on their needs and stage of development.
The initiative addresses a dual objective:
For investors and industrial project developers : offer a qualified list of sites suitable for short-term industrial establishment;
For developers and local authorities : promote these labeled sites to potential industrial projects while supporting their early-stage development efforts and helping them advance as many preliminary administrative procedures as possible.
