Building on the existing aeronautics, space and defense cluster (including Safran, with 7,000 employees), the ambition is to host industrial projects, including a major account, on a 100-hectare site.

The project is in line with the French government's France 2030 plan, the regional strategy and that of the Seine-et-Marne département, as well as that of the two conurbations.

The Villaroche development project covers a total of 160 hectares of land in two major areas of southern Ile-de-France.
