Main informations
5 hectares available
Site description
Located in the communes of Firminy and Unieux, the former Creusot-Loire industrial site covered an area of around 90 hectares. Its dismantling led to its fragmentation into multiple industrial establishments. In the 35-hectare eastern part of the site, major industrial companies such as Aubert&Duval and Clextral coexist.
The departure of Aperam in 2013 freed up around 4.5 hectares of land, providing a strategic opportunity. Acquired by EPORA, the site is currently being cleaned up.
The former Aubert&Duval shipping building next door is currently being acquired by EPORA. Destined for demolition, it will then be decontaminated to make way for an extension to the former Aubert&Duval site, which will be used for new economic activities.
Situated in the Territoire d'Industrie region, this is a brownfield redevelopment project supported by St Etienne Métropole.
