Local economic context and training opportunities
The site is part of the Linandes business park. The territory is labelled "Territoire d'industrie" , the French Government program to support industrialization.
The territory is home to almost 13,000 industrial jobs (18% of local private-sector employment), the vast majority of which are in subcontracting. More specifically, the development of Linandes is mostly designed to support the aerospace and defense industries.
The site is strategic for developping local jobs, which cannot be relocated and are therefore focused on production and maintenance.
The region is a member of 3 competitiveness clusters.
It is located close to the Cergy-Pontoise campus (35,000 students): university, computer and digital school (ESIEE-IT), School of Industrial Biology (EBI), business and management (ESSEC).
