Local economic context and training opportunities
The project is located in the Pégase industrial cluster, whose ecosystems include major groups such as Orange, Nokia, Ericsson and Qualcomm, as well as a network of fast-growing SMEs in the telecoms, photonics, defense, medical and aerospace sectors (Lumibird, Idil, Exail, Cristalens, Ekinops, Prolann, etc.).
The Pégase cluster is home to 5,000 highly skilled jobs, with a large number of engineers, higher education establishments and research centers (IRT B-Com, CTRs such as Photonique Bretagne, the headquarters of the Images et réseaux cluster).
All of this is supported by Technopôle Anticipa, which incubates start-ups and helps companies develop through the search for financing.
Lannion-Trégor Communauté, with its proactive approach to industrial rental property, builds and adapts premises leased to industrial companies. Its real estate portfolio includes almost 300 tenant companies and 180,000 m² of buildings, with an occupancy rate of 94%.
Every year, more than 1,600 students take specialized courses in electronics, computer science, photonics, IT, mechanics, journalism and more. They prepare recognized diplomas adapted to the economic realities of the employment basin.
The agglomeration federates these establishments around the university hub. To welcome students in the best possible conditions, a "Studying in Lannion-Trégor" website brings together all practical information on study options, accommodation, transport...
A research cluster with around 100 researchers and research engineers, sixty PhD students, teacher-researchers and associated research platforms (Speech Studio, CCLO, PERSYST, etc.) all contributing to the region's reputation.
