Site description
Small but already developed site. Land owned by the Urban community Grand Paris Sud. Interesting location close to the Genopôle. The site is a brownfield site, partially and temporarily occupied by the Ile de France Mobilité base (for the TZEN 4).
The region boasts world-class excellence in health and genomics, supported by Genopole®, France's leading bio-cluster, in conjunction with the research community and the Centre Hospitalier Sud Francilien (CHSF). In this respect, the Grand Paris Sud region plays an important role in meeting the major challenge of medical and economic sovereignty for France and Europe.
Genopole® aims to give impetus to a new scientific and economic dynamic by 2030, with the development of around 200 companies, more than 30 laboratories and the creation of several thousand industrial jobs. The aim is to develop industrial applications in the healthcare, energy and environment sectors, among others.
To bring these projects to fruition and develop the real estate portfolio of companies to be hosted at Genopole, it is necessary to develop new, innovative real estate products. The plan is therefore to develop a new Genopole pole in this extended sector. The local authority will lease the land for construction purposes to accommodate new companies, and will provide access to the site.

Local economic context and training opportunities
Grand Paris Sud is particularly dynamic in the "bioeconomy - healthcare - genomics" sector, thanks to the presence of Genopole, France's leading biocluster dedicated to biotherapies and biotechnologies applied to healthcare and life sciences.
Genopole® is a unique site in France dedicated to science and innovation, with 62 companies, 17 technology platforms, 2 digital platforms, 5 technical platforms, 23 academic laboratories, including 2 national genomics reference centers (CEA)... In all, nearly 2,500 people whose actions and skills contribute to the economic development of the entire southern Ile-de-France region.
Genopole supports and accompanies companies that are recognized both in France and internationally in the innovative biotherapies and bioeconomy sectors: Yposkesi, France's leading industrial player in the development and manufacture of gene and cell therapy products for rare diseases; Abolis, specialized in the reprogramming of micro-organisms and contributing to the ecological transition of industrial companies; Illumina, the 1st Illumina training center located in continental Europe; etc.
Grand Paris Sud, as a major economic hub in the Paris region, is characterized by :
- its significant university and research potential
- a particularly dense economic fabric
- aeronautics excellence as the No. 1 industrial cluster in this sector in the Paris region, in conjunction with the mechanical engineering industry (robotics, digital) in its value chain
- world-class excellence in the bioeconomy-health-genomics, driven in particular by Genopole, in conjunction with top schools, research laboratories and universities, most of which are affiliated with Paris-Saclay or the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, and the CHSF (hospital hospital and medical center)
The Grand Paris Sud region boasts considerable university and research potential: over 24,000 students, 40 higher education establishments including 2 universities and 4 top schools (ENSIIE, Institut Mines-Telecom Business School, Télécom SudParis, and ICAM Paris-Sénart), 4 preparatory classes, specialized post-baccalaureate schools and advanced technician sections.
Genopole® is associated with the Université Paris-Saclay, enabling the development and coordination of their actions in the fields of research, innovation, entrepreneurship, training and technology platforms. This strong partnership with the university and graduate schools enables Genopole® to help companies recruit talent and develop training programs in line with their needs.
